Meet the team

 

David Hutchinson: Director of Greentech South.

David has worked in the Higher Education Sector for over 20 years. His most recent roles have been management positions, with significant responsibility for working with industry around skills development, income generation and collaborative research and development. As Greentech South director, David is responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing the successful delivery of wide range of projects.

 

 

Richard Hall: Business Development and Programme Manager.

Richard provides SMEs with an array of support from basic info, bid writing, research, network opportunities, corporate challenges, export opportunities, investment – anything that enables them to take their low carbon innovation to the market.

 

 

 

 

Chloe Hart: Bid Writer and Project Manager.

Chloe ensures the successful delivery of bids and projects involving Greentech South and Clean Growth UK, support SME’s in submitting bid proposals and communicating with all stakeholders to provide helpful updates and assistance where required. She's also responsible for maintaining awareness of suitable bids, challenges and projects that align with Clean Growth UK and Greentech South objectives.

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
Keiron Roberts: Research Fellow in Low Carbon Technologies.
 
Keiron is an experienced researcher in a range of low carbon technologies, policies and practices. These are mainly within the area of sustainable infrastructure planning and process optimisation; focusing primarily on solid waste management, wastewater treatment processes and the adoption of zero-waste and circular economy practices. He has extensive experience developing and completing research activities to deliver both results and recommendations to influence policy.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Alice Fisher: Social Media and Communications Assistant.
 
Alice is responsible for the promotion of Greentech South. Launching social media campaigns, website maintenance and creation, newsletter and blog writing and all aspects of events and exhibitions organisation. She is currently studying Hospitality Management with Tourism at the University of Portsmouth where she will return to complete her final year of studies in 2020. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Joe Watson:  Business and Administration Support Officer.
 
Joe is a Business and Management student at the University of Portsmouth undertaking a placement year as Business and Administration Support Officer for Greentech South. Joe's past experience consists of three years in retail as well as involvement in a number of projects such as the Apple Amabassador Course. His involvement in such projects instilled a passion for innovation which he looks forward to exploring further in his new role.

Matt Pullinger: Low Carbon Technical Specialist – Emphasis3 CO2 Reductions.
 
Following on from a 20 year career in the catering industry, Matt is now a Financial Management for Business student at the University of Portsmouth. After a successful start to his student placement with us, Matt has now been promoted to a more full time role, working closely with SMEs to help deliver the new EMphasis3 CO2 Reductions Project. Matt plans to return to university to complete his final year in September, along with continuing his work alongside the Greentech South team in reducing carbon emissions in the Solent and M3 areas.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Helen Hill: Project Administrator – Emphasis3 COReductions.

Helen is an alumna of the University, and also previously enjoyed 10 years working for the University within the International Office (now UoP Global) and as part of the Information Disclosure and Complaints team.  She has joined the Greentech South team on a part-time basis to provide administrative support for the ERDF funded SME support project ‘Emphasis3 CO2 Reductions’.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Dr John Richardson: Programme Leader - Executive MBA and Director - Centre of Enterprise, Design and Innovation - Low Carbon Solent Project Representative at the University of Winchester 
 

Dr John Richardson is a Senior Lecturer in Innovation Management and an experienced Innovation Advisor/Consultant with a passion for Knowledge Transfer between universities and business. He has an MBA (Distinction) from Southampton University and a PhD in Computer Modelling (Fluid Dynamics). His background is in Digital/Mechanical Engineering. A position as a Senior Visiting Fellow at the University of Southampton led to a move into academia and to the University of Winchester where he is Programme Leader for the Executive MBA and a Director of the Centre for Enterprise, Design & Innovation (CEDI).
